Atlas Roofing Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its StormMaster® Hip & Ridge shingle featuring the company’s proprietary Core4™ Enhanced Polymer Technology, which allows the shingle to provide extra strength, flexibility, durability and extreme weather resistance.

Atlas Roofing, an innovator in shingle technology, says Core4 surpasses standard styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) asphalt for overall better rooftop performance. By including Core4 in its hip-and-ridge shingle lines, Atlas further raises quality and performance expectations across the industry.

Core4 Technology — previously only available in Atlas StormMaster® Shake and StormMaster® Slate shingle lines — are manufactured with polymers enhanced at a molecular level that help shingles stand up to the most severe weather conditions. Like StormMaster Shake and StormMaster Slate, StormMaster Hip & Ridge feature Scotchgard™ Protector for long-lasting defense against black streaks caused by algae.

• FlexCore® Technology allows shingles to bend and flex in cold temperatures, particularly when others crack and tear.
• WeatherCore® Technology provides shingles with strength and resilience to withstand winds up to 150 mph and hail damage.
• ThermalCore® Technology drives shingle stability, reducing the effects of expansion and contraction caused by extreme temperature changes.

StormMaster Hip & Ridge colors match Atlas StormMaster Shake, StormMaster Slate and Pinnacle® Pristine shingles and will continue to provide homeowners with the same stunning curb appeal they have come to expect from Atlas.

StormMaster Hip & Ridge shingles are now a required component of the Atlas Signature Select® Roofing System for StormMaster Slate, StormMaster Shake or Pinnacle Pristine installations. StormMaster Hip & Ridge are covered by the Atlas Lifetime Algae Resistance Limited Warranty.
